Staff Spotlight: Amy Nasta

     Over her 15-year career in senior living, Amy Nasta has made a lasting impact on the lives of countless seniors. Her journey began as dining room manager at a senior living community in her hometown of Roanoke, Virginia. From there, she went on to pursue sales at communities in Black Mountain and Hickory. This past June, Amy brought her passion for senior care to Ardenwoods, where she joined the team as Director of Sales.

     “I love getting to know residents, their families, and what they are looking for in a community. Building these relationships is very important to me,” said Amy.

     Amy enjoys introducing prospective residents and their families to Ardenwoods’ 48-acre campus nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

     “Ardenwoods is a beautiful campus. Getting to experience guests’ first reactions when they tour the area for the first time is so fun. They are impressed and excited,” said Amy.

     As Director of Sales, Amy is part of Ardenwoods leadership team who helps plan monthly resident events and helps incoming residents with their move and acclimating to their new community

     “The move-in process can be emotional and complex for some people, from downsizing items they have had for many years, to the logistics of making sure that they have everything they need when they move in,” she said. “It’s important work, and I enjoy helping people with this process.”

     After living in eastern North Carolina for several years, Amy is happy to be back in the mountains. She looks forward to experiencing the campus and the surrounding area during the fall and winter months.

     Outside of work, Amy enjoys riding her electric bike, reading non-fiction and psychology books, solving crossword puzzles and exploring the food scene in Hendersonville.
