Ardenwoods offers a 90% refundable fee-for-service contract. This type of contract offers lower upfront costs, predictable monthly costs and priority access to higher levels of care at Heather Glen, if ever needed.
Our contract often proves more cost effective in the long run compared to other options. Lower monthly fees for independent living, plus a refund of 90% of your entry fee, can help you manage your expenses more predictably and preserve your financial resources. With a fee-for-service contract, you'll never pay for health services you don't use.
Your monthly cost of living may no longer include a mortgage payment. There are many services you still pay for each month, such as utilities, housekeeping, trash pickup, lawncare, gym membership, etc. Add to that property tax, insurance, unexpected home repairs, social activities, groceries and dining out. It's no small sum. To see how your monthly cost of living compares to that at Ardenwoods, download our worksheet. You may be pleasantly surprised to see how the all-inclusive monthly fee at Ardenwoods can reduce your costs and enhance quality of life.

First, Ardenwoods offers opportunities to enjoy a higher quality of life. Instead of dealing with homeownership responsibilities, you can leave maintenance to us while you do what makes you happy. Second, you can make new friends and connect with others. There are clubs, classes, outings, volunteer opportunities and community events where you can meet your neighbors and share your interests. Third, as an independent living resident, you'll have priority access to assisted living at Heather Glen. If your health needs change, you won't have to move to an unfamiliar setting.

There are several reasons for moving sooner. If you move while you're relatively healthy, you can take advantage of the independent lifestyle at Ardenwoods. Instead of dealing with home maintenance, you can spend more time doing what you enjoy. You can also lead an active social life with daily opportunities for fun, fitness and fulfillment. It's also a good idea to get on our waitlist as early as possible because wait times vary depending on the floor plan you choose.
