Yes. We consider pets to be part of your family, too. Please review our pet policy with a member of our marketing team.

The monthly service fee covers all the costs of living you'd otherwise have in a private home, including maintenance, utilities, housekeeping, property insurance, plus meals in our dining venues. Beyond this, your monthly fee includes access to all amenities on campus, including our fitness center, indoor heated pool, art studio, library, woodworking shop, community gardens and more.

Yes, we provide scheduled transportation to doctor's appointments, shopping, local events, theaters and more.

First, Ardenwoods offers opportunities to enjoy a higher quality of life. Instead of dealing with homeownership responsibilities, you can leave maintenance to us while you do what makes you happy. Second, you can make new friends and connect with others. There are clubs, classes, outings, volunteer opportunities and community events where you can meet your neighbors and share your interests. Third, as an independent living resident, you'll have priority access to assisted living at Heather Glen. If your health needs change, you won't have to move to an unfamiliar setting.

Yes, you pay a one-time, partially refundable entry fee when you move into the community as an independent living resident. The cost is based on the size of your residence and number of occupants. Ardenwoods offers a 90% refund of your entry fee.

There are several reasons for moving sooner. If you move while you're relatively healthy, you can take advantage of the independent lifestyle at Ardenwoods. Instead of dealing with home maintenance, you can spend more time doing what you enjoy. You can also lead an active social life with daily opportunities for fun, fitness and fulfillment. It's also a good idea to get on our waitlist as early as possible because wait times vary depending on the floor plan you choose. Finally, having access to assisted living on-site offers you and your family greater peace of mind.
